The inventors of the Zoku Quick Pop Maker – Ken Zorovich, Yos Kumthampinij and John Earle – have been inducted into the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame, recognizing their achievement in creating an easy-to-use countertop appliance that freezes ice pops in as little as seven minutes, without electricity.
Zoku holds 25 U.S. and international patents on its technology and designs, and has many patents pending. The Zoku line has expanded to include the Duo Quick Pop Maker, Single Quick Pop Maker, Slow-Pop collection, Slush & Shake Maker, Chocolate Station, Social Media Kit, “The Art of Slush” recipe book and the “Zoku Quick Pops” recipe book.
Ken Zorovich is president of Hoboken, N.J.-based Zoku, while Yos Kumthampinij is managing director and John Earle is engineering director.
New Jersey is the only state in the union with its own inventors hall of fame. Once home to Thomas Edison, New Jersey is a standout for its high concentration of inventors, greatly exceeding the per capita U.S. average, according to the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame.
The organization honors New Jersey inventors, from students just beginning their careers to those who, over a lifetime of invention, have contributed significantly to the welfare and finances of the state.
