Typhoon Takes on Kilner, Price & Kensington Distribution

The team at Typhoon Homewares has begun distributing British brands Kilner and Price & Kensington, in addition to Typhoon and Mason Cash, in the United States.

The decision to add sister brands Kilner and Price & Kensington to Typhoon Homewares’ portfolio was made by parent company The Rayware Group, and follows on from the addition of heritage brand Mason Cash in June. This move demonstrates The Rayware Group’s focus on building its U.S. operation to ensure that its high-quality products are made readily and widely available to the U.S. market.

Kilner’s heritage dates to 1842 when John Kilner first devised the jar’s unique pressure seal and iconic design, the first of its kind. Since then, the English brand has become a stalwart for canning enthusiasts the world over. A testament to the Kilner jar’s versatility, it has become a statement of style around the home, inspiring a whole new generation of Kilner fans to find creative uses for their jars.

To keep up with the demand, the product development team is busy extending the range to include more exciting drinking options and more choice for those who have just started canning.

Price & Kensington is a world-renowned ceramic tableware company established in 1896 by the Price Brothers. They founded their earthenware manufacturing in the heart of the British ceramic industry and became known for their teapots. Famous for distinctively designed tabletop accessories and teapots, the line now also includes dinnerware and storage.
