Talin Market Prepares Second Santa Fe Store

Talin Market World Food Fare in Santa Fe, N.M., will open its second store in February. The new store, in Luna, will be approximately 5,000 square feet and will offer Northern New Mexicans easier access to exotic food ingredients from all over the world. In addition, the store will provide a selection of tropical and Asian produce, fresh meat and seafood, eclectic gifts and housewares, and a Japanese-style ramen bar. The Santa Fe location will employ approximately 20 team members.

“Santa Fe-ans have been some of our most loyal customers for decades,” said Victor Limary, Talin Market’s director of operations. “They’ve traveled the world and have an extremely varied palate. We’re excited to be able to provide the Santa Fe and Los Alamos communities with convenient access to the foods that they’ve grown up with or have tried abroad.

“We look forward to being an integral part of the community and developing long-lasting relationships with our guests and our neighbors,” he said. “Being located in downtown Santa Fe is wonderful because of how walkable the area is. We’re literally blocks away from some of Santa Fe’s most active areas.”

Talin Market has been a cornerstone of Albuquerque, N.M.’s International District since 1980, and through cooperation with local government and the surrounding community, is an integral part in the revitalization of the area, and that portion of Route 66.

Locally owned and operated, Albuquerque-based Talin Market World Food Fare has been serving guests in New Mexico and its neighboring states since 1978. It provides imported and regional food products, including one of the Southwest’s largest fresh seafood selections. Talin Market expanded into a new, large-format store in 2005.
