Kuhn Rikon Swiss Pull Chop Receives Top Rating in Swiss Test

The Kuhn Rikon Swiss Pull Chop, which makes chopping and mincing as easy as pulling a cord, came out on top of a test of 14 name-brand manual-powered mini choppers conducted by K-Tipp, a leading Swiss consumer magazine.

K-Tipp offers product recommendations based on rigorous independent testing. Of the 14 mini choppers tested, only three delivered “good” results, and the Swiss Pull Chop was noted as the least expensive of the three.

The Swiss Pull Chop was also one of the two brands singled out as “very good” for chopping onions, one of the most commonly chopped foods in the kitchen. The test involved the chopping of parsley, basil, onions, ginger and hazelnuts. The K-Tipp feature praised the gadget’s consistent, even chopping and ability to chop fine as well as coarse or medium.

The kitchen gadget is known as the Swiss Pull Chop in the United States and the Swizzz Prozzz Power-Haxler in Switzerland.

The Swiss Pull Chop is neat, fast, safe and efficient, with sharp blades enclosed inside a clear container. The pull cord is located in the bright green top. All users have to do is pull the cord to initiate chopping.
