Savannah’s Kitchenware Outfitters Closing

Barbara and David Freeman, owners of Kitchenware Outfitters of Savannah in Savannah, Ga., are closing their store at the end of October after more than a decade in business, according to BusinessinSavannah.com

The Freemans opened the culinary specialty store in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center in 2004 offering a variety of kitchen items and weekly cooking classes. Before opening the store, Barbara Freeman worked as CFO in North American for a European cookware brand and David Freeman worked in marketing.

“We have very much enjoyed our time in retail and appreciate the many people who have supported us over the last 12 years,” Barbara Freeman said in a statement to BiS.com

“All good things come to an end and it is time to hang up our aprons and retire so we can spend time enjoying our family,” David Freeman added.

Kitchenware Outfitters is conducting a retirement sale through the end of October.
