Online registration for the summer 2015 edition of NY NOW®, The Market for Home + Lifestyle, slated to run Saturday, Aug. 15, through Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, is now open at www.nynow.com/register. A handy new “NY NOW Market Planner” will enable registrants to create a personalized planner for the Market, preview product images, videos and information, contact exhibitors, and schedule on-site appointments.
“The registration portal, and our new NY NOW Market Planner tool is just the beginning of a great NY NOW experience,” said Scott Kramer, NY NOW co-director and vice president. “The summer Market offers access to thousands of established industry suppliers and innovative newcomers, as well as a full slate of educational seminars, exciting special events and inspiring displays.” NY NOW’s three comprehensive collections – HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE, as well as NEW! exhibitors – encompass 100,000 products.
In addition to basic badge capabilities, the online registration system allows Market participants to access links to hotel and travel reservations, register for seminars and events, and search NY NOW’s online directory by collection, category or keyword.
Qualified retailers can register for NY NOW for free through 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Friday, Aug. 14, after which registration costs $60 for qualified buyers who are first-time registrants. A new system feature will allow registrants to upload required credentials through Aug. 4, after which required credentials must be presented on-site to complete the registration process. Approved registrants will receive a confirmation and barcode, which can be redeemed for a badge at any NY NOW self-registration terminal at the Javits Center. Qualified buyers who previously have attended the Market but did not pre-register, will be charged a $25 on-site processing fee. Information and registration are available online at www.nynow.com.
