Gourmet Business is featuring its third free app on the Android marketplace for its newly launched Quench e-magazine, furthering its leadership in digital media publishing.
Gourmet Business and Fine Cheese & Charcuterie (Cheese Biz 2) e-magazines are also available on the Android marketplace to make it easy for subscribers to access content wherever they are.
“We are proud to announce the release of Quench, our third publication with a dedicated app, furthering our leadership in providing knowledge, education and discovery about the gourmet industry in digital media,” said David Spencer, founder and publisher of Gourmet Business. “Our audience already appreciates the portability of our information since the app keeps all the back issues stored on the device where it can be read even when an internet connection is not present.
Gourmet Business launched Quench, a bimonthly digital publication, in February, covering the products and trends associated with the specialty beverage market with a focus on coffee, tea, ready-to-drink beverages, waters and mixers.
“Quench allows us to give our audience more of what they love. It will follow along a similar content strategy to Fine Cheese & Charcuterie in which we provide more depth and frequency to our reporting of a niche within the gourmet business where we see accelerated growth and increasing competition driving the need for more comprehensive coverage of the category,” Spencer said. “The clear segregation of our content makes it easier for our audience to focus on the categories that are most closely related to their business without having to dig for the information inside of an industrywide multi-category type of presentation.”

Launched in 2010, Gourmet Business was the first digital business-to-business publication serving the specialty food, grocery, housewares, tabletop and gift markets. In 2011, Gourmet Business launched Fine Cheese & Charcuterie, published eight times a year.
