“Best of HOME” & “Best of LIFESTYLE” Awards Presented to Two NY NOW Exhibitors

Two products – AvoSeedo by AvoSeedo LLC (Frankfurt, Germany) and True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil by True Moringa (Boston) – were recognized as “Best of HOME” and “Best of LIFESTYLE” presented by NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift. The summer 2015 award-winners were determined by popular online voting and awarded last week at NY NOW. 

“NY NOW’s HOME and LIFESTYLE Collections are a popular source of design-driven and fashion-forward trends, and these awards recognize two outstanding products in an intensely competitive field,” said Scott Kramer, NY NOW co-director and vice president. “These products went through a multitiered judging process where they were first selected by a panel of industry professionals before winners were determined by popular voting.” The winners of the Summer 2015 NY NOW “Best of HOME” and “Best of LIFESTYLE” Awards are: 

BEST OF HOME: AvoSeedo LLC (Frankfurt, Germany) for its AvoSeedo, a small plastic bowl featuring an indentation with a hole through which a single avocado seed can be placed in a sufficiently large, water-filled pot for germination. In first-round judging, trade and consumer editors selected the AvoSeedo as winner of the Gourmet Accessories category in the NY NOW Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares Best New Product Awards.

BEST OF LIFESTYLE: True Moringa (Boston) for its True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil, made from 100 percent pure, cold-pressed Ghanian Moringa oil and lavender. The all-natural anti-aging and hydrating skin-soothing moisturizer is created by a network of 700 smallholder farming families in Ghana, providing sustainable livelihoods and planting over 144,000 trees to prevent deforestation. In first-round judging, trade and consumer editors selected True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil as winner of the Natural/Organic category in the NY NOW Personal Care + Wellness Best New Product Awards.
