Michael Bloomberg, mayor of New York, will be the featured speaker during the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2013 International Home + Housewares Show (IH+HS). The breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m. March 5 in the South Building, Level 1, Room S100/Grand Ballroom.
Bloomberg currently serves as the 108th mayor of New York. First elected in 2002, Bloomberg’s accomplishments include taking control of the city’s schools and launching reforms that have resulted in higher test scores, lower dropout rates and better teachers; and keeping New York safe by reducing crime.
Bloomberg is also the founder and owner of Bloomberg LP, a leading financial news and information company. Headquartered in New York, Bloomberg LP has more than 300,000 subscribers and 13,000 employees in more than 185 locations worldwide.
In addition to Bloomberg’s presentation, International Housewares Association Chairman Bill Reibl, president of Infusion Living LLC, will briefly outline the association’s accomplishments in the past year and its objectives for the future.
Tickets for the Industry Breakfast are $25 per person or $300 for a table of 10 with priority seating. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.housewares.org/show/info/breakfast.aspx or during the show at the Show Store, Grand Concourse, Level 2.5.
