Marich Premium Chocolates was a contributing sponsor of the Emmy Governors Ball, the post-awards party held Sept. 23 in Los Angeles.
California’s gourmet chocolatier set up two tasting bars at the event, where guests sampled a variety of sweet treats. Guests were also given a specially designed package of Marich Chocolate Cherries as a take-home gift.
Marich is a second-generation family business operated by the van Dam family for more than 60 years.

Our premium confections are infused with the quality, creativity and diversity that our family and California [are] known for,” said Brad van Dam. “From our fourth-generation chocolate maker to the milk and butter from our dairy farmers, and the dedicated growers of our nuts and fruits, the long-term partnerships are one of our finest ingredients.”
Sustainability is important to the company as well. “We believe that the best-tasting chocolates are those that are responsibly made. We continue to strive to reduce our impact on the environment by using packaging that is recyclable, printed with soy-based inks and made of recycled content wherever possible,” he added.
Marich uses premium fruits, freshly roasted nuts and handcrafted toffees and caramels, available in 4.5-ounce and 2-ounce sizes.
