Magisso Cool-ID Tumbler Wins Red Dot Design Award

The new Magisso self-cooling Cool-ID Tumbler for beer and other beverages has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

Just soaking the Cool-ID Tumbler for a minute in water activates the cooling effect. The soaked tumbler will stay icy-cold for hours, keeping beer, iced coffee or smoothies fresh and tasty for longer, even in the hottest temperature, according to the company. No ice is needed. The unique matt surface of the Cool-ID Tumbler can also be personalized easily with chalk, and is dishwasher-safe.

Designed for the Nordic lifestyle brand Magisso by Simon Stevens, the product is now part of the company’s Self-Cooling Ceramics Collection.
 
The Red Dot Award is the largest and most recognized international product competition in the world with 4,928 entries from 1,994 participants from 56 countries. Last year’s winners included Apple, BMW and Sony.
