Lifetime Brands Inc., a leading global provider of branded kitchenware, tabletop and other products used in the home, has appointed Daniel T. Siegel as president of the company.
Since joining the company in 1992, Siegel has held various positions including senior vice president-sales and, most recently, executive vice president. He also serves on the boards of directors of Grupo Vasconia SAB, Lifetime’s 30 percent-owned partner company in Mexico; and GS Internacional SA, the company’s 40 percent-owned partner company in Brazil.
“Dan has made many significant contributions to Lifetime,” said Jeffrey Siegel, Lifetime’s chairman and chief executive officer. “He repeatedly has demonstrated his expertise in the housewares industry, his passion for innovation and his strong leadership capabilities.
“Over the past two years, Dan has been the principal architect of Lifetime Next, the strategic initiative that lays out our path for moving forward over the next five years,” said Jeffrey Siegel. “(He) is also responsible for Lifetime’s expanded focus on product innovation, for developing the company’s social media and electronic marketing strategies and for overseeing the company’s expansion into new markets outside North America.”
Lifetime Brands markets its products under well-known kitchenware brands such as Farberware, KitchenAid, CasaModa, Cuisinart, Cuisine de France, Fred, Guy Fieri, Hoffritz, Kizmos, Misto, Pedrini, Roshco, Sabetier and Vasconia and tabletop brands such as Mikasa, Pfaltzgraff, Creative Tops, Gorham, International Silver, Kirk Stieff, Sasaki, Towle Silversmiths, Tuttle, Wallace, V&A and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
