Las Vegas Market to Host Gift For Life Benefit at Summer Market

Las Vegas Market recently announced that it will host the fifth annual “Up on the Roof” gala charity event benefiting Gift For Life, the sole charitable organization for the gift, stationery and home décor industries, on Monday, Aug. 3, during the Summer 2015 Las Vegas Market, running Aug. 2-6, 2015, at the World Market Center Las Vegas. 

“Las Vegas Market is pleased once again to offer the industry the opportunity to combine networking with social awareness, with 100 percent of proceeds from this special event benefiting Gift For Life,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home décor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is doing its part to unite the industry against AIDS, and over the last four years, Las Vegas Market’s special events have raised more than $40,000 to benefit Gift For Life.”

The “Up on the Roof” fundraiser and reception will be held in a spectacular setting – the WorldView Ballroom on the 16th floor of Building B – showcasing stunning views of the Las Vegas skyline. From 6 to 8 p.m., partygoers will enjoy cocktails, appetizers, dancing, music and a Las Vegas-themed silent auction. Auction items will include hotel stays; restaurant vouchers; VIP services at top nightclubs; spa packages; and many more.

Tickets for the “Up on the Roof” benefit cost $25 and may be purchased online at www.giftforlife.org/events, or at specially designated kiosks on-site during Las Vegas Market. All guests will receive one raffle ticket with their ticket purchase and can buy additional raffle tickets at the auction. All funds raised will benefit Gift For Life.

Gift For Life hosts events throughout the U.S. each year to benefit DIFFA.
