KeHE conducted its annual Summer Selling & Product Innovation Show at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans Feb. 4 and 5. The event brought together more than 3,000 retailers and suppliers in the natural, specialty and fresh product sectors to showcase summer products and new product innovation.
“Our retail and supplier partners rely on our guidance regarding best-in-class products that will perform well during the upcoming summer season,” stated Brandon Barnholt, president and CEO of KeHE. “We looked forward to showcasing our supply partners’ hottest products, and sharing our insights on successful summer season merchandising.”
This year’s show featured consumer shopping and eating insights from The Hartman Group, with Laurie Demeritt, CEO of The Hartman Group, sharing her team’s findings.
There was also a fresh products pavilion showcasing new and exciting products in perimeter store categories.
During its visit to New Orleans, KeHE was one of the first groups to host its traditional event at The National World War II Museum. The Smithsonian-affiliated museum is recognized as one of the top 15 museums in the world, and is the only Smithsonian Museum outside of Washington, D.C.
The KeHE Summer Selling & Product Innovation Show was a private, by-invitation-only, industry event. KeHE Distributors, based in Romeoville, Ill., provides natural and organic, specialty and gourmet, international and multicultural, and fresh products to more than 35,000 retail outlets throughout North America.
