The Jura Impressa A9, with its intuitive slide and touch technology, has won a 2015 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, the only independent museum of architecture and design in the United States.
One of the major design awards in the world, the Good Design Awards honors quality design of the highest form, function and aesthetic. The Impressa A9 won based on its cutting-edge design, concept, materials, construction, utility, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment.
The Impressa A9 has 12 specialty options available at the touch of a button, including latte macchiato doppio and cappuccino doppio The A9 brews the best in high-pressure brewed coffee, as well as espresso, ristretto, cappuccino or latte macchiato. It can also provide hot frothy milk foam or hot water.
Thanks to one-touch technology, this new model can automatically grind twice and prepare an extra shot, up to 20 grams. Consumers can personalize their machine by saving their four favorite specialties on the start screen – and then they can activate preparation at any time with a gentle touch.
The A9 also includes Jura’s revolutionary fine foam technology and innovative cappuccino/latte macchiato system.
