Rapidly growing cold pressed juice and raw food company Juice Press plans to expand into five new New York area locations targeted for opening in spring/summer 2014: Chinatown, Tribeca, Midtown, Bridgehampton and The World Financial Center.
The announcement comes on the coattails of a successful 2013 for Juice Press. Founded in 2010 by Marcus Antebi, Juice Press has 14 stores in the New York area and the brand has expanded to include delivery options to those wanting to eat clean nationwide.
The Chinatown location, inside the health club Soho Strength Lab, opened in late January with a workout including the gym’s owner, New York Yankee Mark Teixeira and Antebi. This location, according to Antebi, bridges the gap between the Soho, Nolita and East Village stores, and partners the brand with a like-minded environment.
“I’m excited about this relationship because it gives our customers the chance to work out with the best trainers and drink the best juice,” he said.
Tribeca Juice Press is slated to open in March and targets an eclectic mix of residential and professional occupants. Juice Press Midtown is also planned for March. Bridgehampton, scheduled for May, is the second major presence out east. Last season, Juice Press launched a Southampton store.
Juice Press stores all use 100 percent organic, vegan and kosher produce and ingredients. Made fresh daily, Juice Press does not use any processing methods to preserve shelf life, and all items are GMO-free.
