Attendee favorites Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, Charm City Cakes’ Duff Goldman, Top Chef Masters champion Chris Cosentino and James Beard Award winners Stephanie Izard and Michelle Bernstein have joined the lineup of celebrity chefs appearing in the Cooking Theater during the 2015 International Home + Housewares Show, March 7-10, at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
The Cooking Theater is the focal point of Savor Home, the Gourmet Food + Specialty Products category in the Dine + Design Expo in the South Building. It is jointly sponsored by KitchenAid, Wilton Brands, Robinson Home Products and WellnessMats.
Also scheduled to appear are Matt Abdoo, chef de cuisine at Del Posto in New York; Tony Abou-Ganim, The Modern Mixologist; Lorena Garcia of Top Chef Masters; Bernard Guillas, La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club executive chef; Pat LaFrieda of Food Network’s Meat Men; Bobby Parrish, Flavor City with Bobby; Alex Pilas, Eataly Chicago; and Kelly Senyei, Just a Taste. They join previously announced Cooking Theater chefs Rick Bayless, Fabio Viviani, Aarón Sánchez, Paula Deen, Ree Drummond and Ming Tsai. Also appearing will be Anupy Singla, Mindy Segal, Beth LeManach, and Tom and Patty Erd.
The chef demonstrations will begin on Saturday, March 7, and continue through Tuesday, March 10. Many of the chefs will also be doing book signings after their demonstrations.
