I Heart Keenwah Raises Funds for Expansion

I Heart Keenwah, a quinoa products company, announced its recent closing of Series A investment. The Chicago-based company, with offices in New York, will use the funding to invest in sales and marketing. 

The financing was led by Washington, D.C.-based Anzu Partners. 

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Anzu to build out the I Heart Keenwah brand,” said Ravi Jolly, I Heart Keenwah president and co-founder. “Since launching the company in 2010 at a local food market in Brooklyn, it has been my dream to grow I Heart Keenwah into a nationally recognized, delicious healthy snack brand that consumers can enjoy, and this financing is another step toward achieving that goal.” 

In conjunction with the capital raised, I Heart Keenwah also recently announced the launch of its second product offering, Quinoa Puffs, available in Aged Cheddar, Sea Salt Truffle, Sweet Chili and Herbes de Provence flavors. Like I Heart Keenwah’s flagship product, Quinoa Clusters, the new Quinoa Puffs are all-natural, Non-GMO Project Verified and Certified Gluten-Free. 

I Heart Keenwah is dedicated to bringing a delicious, healthy snack to the market. The company cooks up quinoa snacks with the goal of making it easy for consumers to get the superfood into their day-to-day routine. Jolly and Sarah Chalos, I Heart Keenwah’s founders, chose quinoa because of its numerous health and nutritional benefits.
