Harold Import Company Acquires EVO Oil Sprayers

December 2022- HIC has acquired the EVO brand, officially bringing the award-winning line of EVO Oil Sprayers and accessories to the HIC Family of Brands.  

“The Evo Oil Sprayer is the perfect marriage of quality design that functions consistently for the home and professional chef,” said Robert Laub, president of the Lakewood, NJ - based HIC-Harold Import Company.  “Since 2014, HIC has offered our customers this innovative culinary tool as part of our extended family of brands. We are excited about this new opportunity as the EVO oil sprayer and accessories have found a new home here in the HIC Family of Brands.”

Noted as the first, non-aerosol sprayer that atomizes oils, the unique design of the EVO sprayer brought the ability to spray oils without pressurization and propellants — a design that was more effective, simpler and less reliant on chemicals. This new advance, coupled with an ergonomic design provided by Michael Graves Design Group, gave home and professional chefs the ability for more control when dispensing any cooking oil or vinegar in a unique fan pattern — without using harmful propellants or chemicals - and without clogging.

The EVO line includes spray bottles in glass, stainless steel and BPA, latex, DEHP-free plastic options, all in various sizes and colors, in addition to accessories such as a twist-on funnel, and identification bands. 

The HIC Family of Brands includes: HIC Kitchen, Mrs. Anderson’s Baking, Helen’s Asian Kitchen, Fante’s, Beyond Gourmet, Cutlery Pro, Maine Man Seafood and Fino.
