Gourmet Business is developing a Retailer Advisory Team composed so far of 14 specialty retailers, half of whom are primarily food purveyors and the other half more focused on the housewares side of the industry.
This forward-looking and forward-thinking group, comprising retail businesses of all types and sizes, and from various regions, will provide Gourmet Business with editorial advice and guidance to ensure the brand remains relevant and of optimum use to specialty retailers. Advisers will also be invited to participate in a plethora of industry roundtables, conferences, dinners and cocktail events, and other important networking and recognition opportunities.
"Gourmet Business is pleased to welcome these thought leaders from well-respected retailers in the various channels that are representative of our extensive reach in the marketplace,” said David Spencer, founder and publisher of Gourmet Business. “Our publication will benefit from their extensive knowledge of the business, and will help us learn firsthand about the critical issues facing the marketplace that will serve as guidance for future editorial."
