GC Buying Group Preps for 20th Annual GCX: Start the Year Conference at Atlanta Market

Dallas, December 12– GC Buying Group Members are set to meet at Atlanta Market on January 11 and 12, 2023, to kick off the year in a big way. Eighty-plus vendors and 160+ buyers will assemble for two days of education, vendor showcase & expo. The education day will include speaker and industry expert, Warren Shoulberg, whose presentation “Back to the Future 2023”, will be geared to doing business amid economy changes in the new year. 

In addition to the keynote address, top-tier and innovative new vendors will address the GC Group Store Members, providing insight into specific products, and creating the opportunity for independent store owners and buyers to get to know principals of the vendor companies.

The Vendor Showcase & Expo will feature over 85 tables filled with vendors’ products, including many tried and true best sellers, as well as exciting new items.

Capital City Club will be the beautiful venue for the Wednesday evening exclusive GC cocktail buffet where stores and vendors mingle in a social setting while enjoying delicious food and drink. The ultimate in networking, the private Capital City Club lends itself to professional connections and quiet conversations.

At the end of the day on Thursday, January 12, GC is pleased to co-sponsor with Les Dames d’Escoffier International the Culinary Futures Scholarship Fundraiser. Held from 5:30 to 7:30pm in the Buyers Lounge on the 8th floor, Building 2, the event is open to everyone. No ticket purchases will be required, and donations are happily accepted.

On Friday morning, January 13, GC vendors will meet with the GC Team, GC Advisory Board members, and leaders of the IMC for a discussion of business and market opportunities for vendors and independent retailers. Following the Vendor Forum, GC store members will enjoy a light lunch at the newly formed showroom merger of Kitchen2Table and Ben Tally & Associates.
