After 35 years owning and operating the original buying group in the kitchenware industry, GC Buying Group has launched the “Learning How To Cook” blog to serve up culinary inspiration and information intended for independent retail owners and end consumers alike.
The idea of a GC-hosted blog was conceived during a monthly staff chat where many business and industry related topics are discussed at length. Until now, there has not been a proper platform to share these discoveries and conclusions with the GC network.
“Since I founded GC in 1981, I have worked to surround myself with talent and today, I think our team is stronger than ever before,” said Janis Johnson, president and founder of GC Buying Group. “We challenge each other daily and many times arrive at solutions we know will be helpful to our members. We are eager to share those aha moments, favorite recipes, tips and of course, vendor spotlights with our beloved industry.”
Readers of the blog can expect to see content posted each weekday related to all things kitchenware—from recipes and entertaining to industry-related better business practices. Tuesdays will be reserved for professional expertise extending from GC product and vendor reviews to trade show secrets and merchandising tips.
Learning How To Cook will be available at the learninghowtocook.com website, as well as through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
