European Union Pavilion to debut at Winter Fancy Food Show 2023

BRUSSELS, Jan. 5, 2023  /PRNewswire-PRWeb/-- For the first time, the European Union (EU) will participate in the Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS) in Las Vegas, from January 15-17, under the slogan "More than Food, Great Stories to Share".

At WFFS, the EU will promote the quality, safety, authenticity, and sustainability of food and drink from the EU, which has a long tradition of producing some of the world's finest farm produce. At the same time, the EU will showcase some of the best of its products to inform and inspire American buyers, retailers and distributors.

"We are delighted to be participating in the Winter Fancy Food Show," said Michael Curtis, Deputy Head of EU Delegation to the United States. "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the quality and diversity of our food products and to connect with businesses and buyers from around the U.S. We look forward to sharing with everyone at the show Europe's passion for great food, and the quality, safety and sustainability standards that make European food so special."

In addition to offering visitors a chance to sample high-quality food from the EU, the EU Pavilion will also highlight the EU's commitment to supporting Europe's farmers and producers. Visitors will be able to learn about quality assurance labels in place, such as geographical indications, which protect the traditions of European producers while assuring businesses around the world of European quality and authenticity that they can pass on to their customers.

The EU's presence at WFFS 2023 Las Vegas will also include interactive sessions such as live cooking shows with renowned European and U.S. chefs, as well as tastings and product workshops. The EU also partnered with the Specialty Food Association (SFA) for the WFFS to experience the best of the EU food and beverages at the "Taste it Live" stage and at the "Key Buyers Lounge" to offer tastings of food and beverage products to visitors. These activities will give a tasting experience and deeper understanding of the quality of EU produce, together with valuable insights into how to best position and sell it to customers in the United States.

Those seeking to take their business to the next level are encouraged to sign up for the EU Pavilion's Official Opening Ceremony, where they can meet with EU delegates and leading industry representatives. The Opening Ceremony, with a speech by Deputy Ambassador Curtis, will take place at 10:30-11:30 on January 15, 2023, in booth 2467-2567 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Registration is available through this link. Registrations to the Opening Ceremony are accepted until January 14, 2pm (Las Vegas / UTC-8)

The Winter Fancy Food Show is a leading trade show for the specialty food industry and comprises three days of networking, trendspotting, and sampling the newest and best specialty foods from hundreds of exhibitors in more than 40 categories.
