Cranbury, N.J.-based Demarle Inc., which markets Silpat and Sil-Eco brands in the United States, has changed its corporate name to Sasa Demarle Inc., to reflect the scope of the company’s business.
The company’s management team and product line remains the same. A new red-and-white logo for Sasa Demarle expands on the original Demarle logo to incorporate and illustrate the new name.
In 2000, Sasa Industrie Group merged with Demarle’s parent company in France to form a new global leader in nonstick baking products. The
U.S. subsidiary has now changed its official name to coordinate with the company’s worldwide operation and maintain its culinary heritage in providing specialized innovative products for professional and home bakers.
“Our mission is innovation with a priority on high quality. Our comprehensive quality control and R&D departments work together for continual improvements of existing processes and products, and the development of new concepts that benefit the baker,” said Lisa Meyer, vice president of Sasa Demarle.
