Dallas Market Center Partners With Dwell With Dignity

Dwell with Dignity has teamed up with Dallas Market Center’s design showrooms to help families escape poverty and embrace self-sufficiency with Design for a Cause for the entire month of September.

Throughout the month, participating showrooms and product lines are raising funds by contributing a portion of their sales to Dwell with Dignity’s Design for a Cause. Participating showrooms include: Ashore Inc., Contempo Designs, Dallas Rugs, Design Directions through Massoud Furniture, Ethan and Associates, In-Detail, J Mackie & Associates, and Taylors on Ten.

“Dallas Market Center has had the pleasure of working with Dwell with Dignity for three consecutive years,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We are grateful to the showrooms and manufacturers who are participating and donating to this amazing cause. The positive impact Design for a Cause has on families will continue to help them for generations to come and we are proud to be a part of this incredible promotion.”

Dwell with Dignity is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring design to those who are less fortunate. Its goal is to inspire individuals to maintain a standard of living they can thrive in and be proud of.

“With the help of our partners, we completed 20 projects in 2014,” said Lisa Robison, founder and president of Dwell with Dignity. “We have gained an additional five showrooms this year and we are excited to see the outcome of our growing support. We developed Dwell with Dignity out of love and compassion for those in need, and the supporting showrooms at Dallas Market Center make it possible.”
