Dallas Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards Calls for Entries

Dallas Market Center has put out a call for entries for the first Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards, to be held at Dallas Market Center during the Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, Jan. 18-24. Entries are open through Nov. 13.

The Dallas Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards recognizes exceptional manufacturers in the housewares industry exhibiting at Dallas Market Center. Housewares products have expanded dramatically at Dallas Market Center, with more than 300 housewares product lines now featured throughout the Housewares neighborhood in the Trade Mart.

The Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards will present awards in eight categories with a special Best in Class award selected from among the category recipients. Categories include cookware/bakeware, kitchen electrics, kitchen tools/gadgets, serveware, cutlery, barware, kitchen textiles and beverageware.

Housewares product entries will be judged based on innovation, user-friendliness and visual appeal. Participation is limited to current Dallas Market Center permanent or temporary housewares exhibitors, and products must be introduced to market between Feb. 28, 2016 and January 2017.

Pre-Judging will take place mid-December and on-site judging will take place Wednesday, Jan. 18. Winners will be revealed during an awards ceremony and cocktail reception Jan. 19.
