Cooking.com, Butter Bell Team for E-Commerce Site

Cooking.com has announced a new channel partnership with Butter Bell, an L. Tremain Co. brand, which since its inception in 1996 has become the most recognized purveyor of butter crocks in North America. The partnership of these two major players in the culinary space, both based in Los Angeles, coincides with the launch of the newly redesigned Butter Bell Store.

In addition to providing consumers with Butter Bell crocks – which store soft, delicious, spreadable butter safely without refrigeration – in a wide variety of styles, the Butter Bell Store provides a selection of more than 250 cooking-related items.

Cooking.com, which currently manages both its own culinary e-commerce site and uniquely branded online stores for the biggest names in the industry, will manage the e-commerce business of the Butter Bell brand moving forward. In addition to providing the Butter Bell Store with a new and improved online look and feel, Cooking.com will handle product fulfillment and will provide an integrated program to amplify sales efforts online. Consumers will also benefit from a new selection of products that complement the existing Butter Bell crock line and improved social accessibility.

“We are excited to collaborate with Butter Bell and support the most recognized brand of butter crocks in the U.S. and Canada with a refreshed store website,” said Tracy Randall, CEO of Cooking.com.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ online shopping experience,” said Lisa Tremain, president and CEO of the L. Tremain Co. “With 15 years of fine-tuned experience in the space, Cooking.com has a well-respected reputation for reaching unique audiences and bringing them a tailored store experience. Their history of seamless brand integration was another key factor in our decision, as it was important that our updated storefront cater to consumers while maintaining the family-run gourmet brand.”

Cooking.com operates uniquely branded stores, including the Food Network Store, Calphalon Store, Rachael Ray Store and Epicurious Shop. Cooking.com offers more than 30,000 products for the kitchen as well as recipes, menus, collections and a growing library of member-submitted cooking content.
