Comte Offers New Videos on Website

The Comté Cheese Association has just released a new series of videos! The “Comté Cheesemonger” series—including How to Cut Comté, How to Wrap & Store Comté, andHow to Taste Comté—features expert instruction and valuable tips from cheesemonger David Robinson of Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, MA for cutting, wrapping, storing and tasting Comté. From how to break down a whole wheel, to tips for storing Comté at both the store level and at home, to properly tasting Comté, these videos provide important advice for both members of the trade and for consumers. The videos are an excellent tool for promotions, staff training, classes and events. The series is available on the Comté USA website, as well as on the Comté You Tube Channel. Viewers are welcome to share the videos on their own websites as well as via social media.
The Comté Cheese Association – Comité Interprofessionnel de Gestion du Comté (CIGC) – was set up by decree on 11th June 1963. It represents all those who are involved in the production of Comté—dairy farmers, cheesemakers, affineurs—and carries out activities in all fields of interest to the trade, including research and technical issues, economics, information and communications, marketing, law and promotion of the Comté appellation, defense of local traditions and protection of the environment.
