Krups, Voters Name Best Coffee Shops in America

Krups USA, a worldwide leader in coffee, espresso and kitchen appliances, announced the winners of this year’s Krups Best Brew Awards. The annual campaign, now in its third year, was introduced to discover the best coffee shops across the nation.   Determined by a call for entries and a public vote through the Krups Facebook page, fans voted for their favorite coffee shops in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco from March 18 to April 12. The campaign drew more than 1,800 votes as well as write-in entries.

Winners are Condesa Coffee, Atlanta; Voltage Coffee and Art, Boston; Metropolis Coffee Co., Chicago; White Rock Coffee, Dallas; M.E. Swing Co., Washington, D.C.; Tierra Mia, Los Angeles; Eternity Coffee Roasters, Miami; Café Pedlar, New York; Mugshots and Naked Chocolate Café (a tie), Philadelphia; and Philz Coffee, San Francisco.

“It’s very exciting to see the enthusiasm and growing participation from voters this year as we close out the third annual Krups Best Brew Awards,” said Michele Lupton, marketing communications director for the brand. “Krups fans continually impress us with their passion and knowledge for all things coffee, and we enjoy recognizing their favorite spots across America where they find the best brews, outside of their own Krups machines.” Last year’s winners were 9th Street Espresso in New York; Cafe Dulce in Los Angeles; Four Barrel Coffee in San Francisco; Tinta y Cafe in Miami; Metropolis Coffee in Chicago; Thinking Cup in Boston; Elixr in Philadelphia; White Rock Coffee in Dallas; Condesa Coffee in Atlanta; and M.E. Swing in Washington, D.C.
