Bed Bath & Beyond CEO Mark Tritton To Keynote IHA’s Connect SPRING Virtual Event?

ROSEMONT, IL (March 9, 2021) – Mark J. Tritton, president & CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond, will speak with Marshal Cohen, chief industry advisor, Retail, at The NPD Group, in a Fireside Chat keynote session during Connect SPRING, the International Housewares Association announced today. Connect SPRING, an IHA virtual event, will be held March 16-26 and Tritton’s session will take place Tuesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. CDT.

            During their Fireside Chat, Tritton and Cohen will explore hot topics in the home industry. Tritton will explain his transformation agenda for strategic growth in 2021 and “beyond,” highlighting how the leading home retailer has been driving change by cultivating a purpose-driven, customer-inspired brand.

            Tritton has more than 30 years of experience in the retail industry and is currently overseeing a comprehensive growth strategy to transform Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., where he has served as president and CEO since October 2019. Prior to this, he was executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target Corporation, where he was instrumental in transforming the omni-channel shopping experience. Tritton has end-to-end retail industry experience in merchandising, design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution at some of the world’s leading iconic retailers and brands, including Target, Nordstrom, Inc., Timberland LLC and Nike, Inc. He also currently serves on the board of Nordstrom, Inc.
