Arte Italica, a leading importer of luxury tableware and decorative accessories, will host its first-ever artisan signing events this December. Seven stores within the Northeast were selected to co-host the events.
“We are thrilled to bring the talents of Italy to the United States,” said Chris Collins, president of Arte Italica. “As a company that imports handcrafted pieces, its important for our customers to see the detail, talent and craft that goes into each and every piece. What we do is special and we are excited to share this with our stores and our northeast customers and collectors.”
Master Artisan Mara Vicariucci will travel from her hometown, Citta’ di Castello, a small Italian city just outside Tuscany, this December. She has been painting ceramics from an early age and helped to develop Arte Italica’s popular Natale Collection. This collection was the company’s first holiday inspired offering. Starting with only five pieces, the collection has grown to 28 pieces along with complementary glassware and linens.
Accompanying Vicariucci on her tour is Marinella Lombardini. Lombardini, Arte Italica’s creative expert and Italian designer, has been an integral part of the company for the past seven years. She will be traveling from Florence and will act as an Arte Italica ambassador and translator. Both women collaborated on Arte Italica favorites such as Medici, Burano and the Natale Collection (shown here).
Vicarucci will be appearing at the Home Gallery in Cape May, N.J., on Dec. 2; Kate & Co. in Spring Lake, N.J., Dec. 3; FX Doughtery in Doylestown, Pa., on Dec. 4; Latona’s Specialties in Garfield, N.J., on Dec. 7; Angel’s Cards & Gifts in New Hope, Pa., on Dec. 8;- la Terrine in New York City on Dec. 9 and Sickles Market in Little Silver, N.J., on Dec. 10.
