Cologne, Germany…Two internationally operating food industry players, Anuga and UNIDO, are coming together this autumn to discuss the challenges of the global food industry, address the opportunities and solutions, and, above all, bring important players together for joint projects. The promotion of economic growth and sustainable developments in the food industry will be the focus of this professional exchange that will take place during Anuga 2023, the world’s leading food fair for the retail trade and the foodservice and catering markets.
“We have won over a strong partner in UNIDO, which asserts itself as a global sustainable industrial development,” said Oliver Frese, chief operating officer of Koelnmesse. “Together with Anuga, as an international platform for the food industry and its key theme this year of sustainable growth, we are creating a stage at the trade fair that places the focus on the topic of food security as an essential basis for sustainable economic development.
“At the same time, in this context, we are offering our exhibitors the possibility to draw increased attention to their products and innovations to promote a sustainable food system,” said Mr. Frese.
The Anuga 2023 fair will take place at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, October 7-11. This biennial event is a central business and communications platform for all players involved in the development, manufacturing, marketing, distribution and sale of food and beverage. It’s where new products make their debut to complement today’s and tomorrow’s trends.
